"Whispers From Saraighat" is a collection of poems which the poet Snehal Deb had scribbled down at various moments in life, sometimes at an off period in school or while travelling or while gazing at the mighty Brahmaputra at Saraighat. The poetry speaks of various social issues, personal emotions and abstract ideas. He was born and brought up in Dibrugarh and later shifted to Guwahati. The mighty Brahmaputra, the saraighat inspired him to write poetry which got compiled into this book.
