Early in the morning when the entire nature was calm down with all the flowers blooming in the garden, a man came out of a small well- mannered old house in the middle of the garden. He was working in his garden and his wife was making morning tea for him. They even have puppies and kitten playing in their own comforts. Their house was settled in the country side so they have less movement of people and goods. Suddenly he heard somebody was ringing the bell of the cycle. It was extremely rare situation for them as no one visits their place. It was the post man waiting for him. He went to the postman and asked if he could help him. The post man asked if he knew Mr. Arvin Dutta. He replied “Myself Arvin.” “Oh! Then it’s good, I have a parcel for you. Here it is.” said the post man. He handed a packet to him. Mr. Arvin signed the receipt. The postman took U- turned and went away.
Mr. Arvin took the packet and started to open. He walked to his wife and showed her the parcel. It was a book. They saw the author of the book was Mrs. Aparajita Konwar with the title ‘LOVE OF FLUTE’. He sat down on a couch; his wife gave him the cup of tea and set beside him. Both of them started to read the book.
Immediately, they directly took bus and went to town. They went to an address and saw there was a bold man in trouser suit fit sitting in the couch. Both of them went inside the house and touch his shoulder from backside calling “babu”. When the man had turned they directly hugged him. Eyes melt like ice. It was Krishna Dutta, a renowned artist. He has a versatile knowledge of flute and composed many songs. He was waiting there for his concert. By hearing their voice he felt a soft breeze in his heart which he hadn't received for more than 20 years. He couldn’t stop his tears by looking at them. It was a huge moment for him to have them at last. He asked, “How did u know I m here?” Mr. Arvin took out the book and gave it to him.
It is not my story. I felt the pain of her at her last time so I decided to pen down her story and send the message to the real person.
“I saw him in the function night with all his hairs lifting and playing that all mesmerizing flute. He was fascinatingly singing and playing the flute in the group. My eyes were stuck at him. He was looking so dashing that I lost my heart at first sight. Somehow I managed to get his contact number and with courage for the first time I called him and listened his voice. That night we talked very late for about 3:00 am and then the birds started chirruping. He met many girls but didn’t response to anyone much so he asked me to wait for him till 25th of May. On that day when I called him many times but the calls were disconnected. After many days I saw him passing from my side but couldn’t call him as he hadn’t seen my face earlier. I rang him up to say that i saw him but same as disconnected. Then one day I saw his photo with a girl. I felt very bad which can't be expressed in words but I controlled myself. With time and years pass by I became an author. I went to him one day when I got to know that he became an artist. But that was my last stage of cancer I didn’t have courage to say anything to him. He even got married but I will wait for him till my last breathe. I also knew that he was away from his parents and wanted to unite them together. Looking at my situation I couldn’t do that. He left home for becoming an artist and at the same times in anger his parents sold their property and went away to a far remote place of Kerala. At last I m your Krishnapiya….”
