How easily we compare our miseries with others! How quick we are in saying that “yours is nothing... ”. But is it really something that we can compare? Can we really say how sad or depressed someone is?
Is there a machine which can measure the gravity of our sadness? No, right? Only the person suffering the pain knows its depth. Why? Because the situations are different for everyone. We may be facing a similar crisis, but there can be a lot of difference in the situations. Neither a moderate scenario reduces the gravity of our pain nor the complex situations increase it any further. In my opinion, it’s the conscience of the people who are facing those critical times. It tests our strength and control that we have on ourselves. Some cry, some yell, some curse, some even become insensate or schizophrenic, everyone has their own way of showing their grief.
Grief, well, the word is really small but it feels very heavy. It is something that every person faces at some point of life, but only a few know how to handle it. Even those who have experienced it once have no idea as to how to deal with it. But by expressing our sorrows we may feel a little light-hearted.
